Responsibilities
Dynamics AX resource job description typically outlines responsibilities related to the implementation, maintenance,
and support of the Microsoft Dynamics AX (now Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations) enterprise resource planning (ERP) system.
This includes tasks like technical support, system configuration, customizations, and potentially leading or participating in upgrades or migrations.
The specific focus can vary between functional and technical roles,
and experience with X++, SQL, and other related technologies is often required
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
Technical Skills:
Strong understanding of X++ programming language.
Proficiency in SQL Server database management and querying.
Experience with SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services) for reporting.
Familiarity with the Dynamics AX development environment and tools.
Knowledge of integration technologies and patterns.
Functional Skills:
In-depth knowledge of one or more Dynamics AX modules (e.g., Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Human Resources).
Experience with business process analysis and requirements gathering.
Understanding of the Dynamics AX implementation methodology (e.g., Sure Step).
Other Skills:
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience with both AX 2012 and Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations is highly desirable.
