Key Responsibilities:


  • As a solution architect you will be required lead and develop competitive and innovative business process outsourcing solutions that meet client asks and delivers value
  • The solution development process will require closer collaboration with client and multiple internal stakeholders including onshore sales and client engagement teams project management transition operations and digital teams to develop a seamlessly connected solution and pricing inputs
  • Additionally the work will require
  • Owning and development of innovative solutions and Infosys value proposition in close alignment with other teams and practices within Infosys that meet client requirements
  • The activity will require creation of proposal documents in Word PPT Excel and other relevant formats
  • Managing stakeholder expectations from Solution Design Services delivery Practice transition technologies and sales teams through PDCA plan do check act approach
  • Research and develop best practices based frameworks adapt these approaches for building in a differentiated proposition for clients
  • Estimation of resource effort by application of various internal and external benchmarks and experience provision of pricing inputs to deal pricing teams
  • Researching market identification of new technology solutions and support development of market differentiated solution along with digital transformation services teams
  • Work closely with these teams to explore fit and seamlessly integrate technology and AI ML RPA and Gen AI based digital solutions in the proposals
  • Developing S P Business value delivery framework articulation and drive effective adoption across Solution design Delivery and Sales team
  • Conducting Spend data analysis and estimating sourcing transaction and compliance level savings based on benchmarks heuristics and guidance from experts within the team
  • Creating and collate case studies from existing S P operations write S P centric POVs Blogs and support other promotional channels to generate market visibility
  • Working with the delivery team and handholding SOW negotiations
  • Undertake Benchmarking External Internal Benchmarks
  • Research and understand external benchmarks CAPS Hackett APQC etc
  • Understand client needs develop benchmark framework and drive efforts to collate benchmark data across global engagements analyse and provide insights on trends best in class practice evaluate potential improvements in process by comparing with internal external benchmark data
  • Publish Benchmark reports to stakeholders Delivery Practice and Solution Design
  • Train and coach other team members
  • Take up short term on site projects as a consultant as and when required

Additional Responsibilities:


  • You are an expert in Sourcing and procurement and supply chain management with 12 years of demonstrated experience in Strategic sourcing and procurement
  • We would highly prefer someone with at least 3 years of experience in solution development and presales
  • You have actively led or contributed to development of Sourcing Category strategies conducted opportunity assessments to identify opportunities to improve savings create business case implement or suggest process and policy redesign or any such projects
  • You understand business finance and commercial models relevant to S P e
  • g
  • cost break down sheets TCO analysis supplier comparison weighted average models etc
  • You have functional understanding of ERPs and digital solutions and preferably supported or led transformation and automation projects in Sourcing and procurement and associated areas
  • You are passionate about innovative technology and gen AI and keep yourself updated with latest developments in the field
  • You have strong excel skill and comfortable in crunching large data sets and conducting analysis
  • Base Skills
  • Sourcing and procurement experience for Indirect MRO Direct materials and services categories across industries manufacturing services consulting etc
  • category management or tail spend management or operations experience in Category management sourcing with other providers in similar space
  • Program management stakeholder management and in cross cultural context
  • Hands on experience on procurement platforms e

  • Coupa SAP Oracle SAP Ariba Sourcing SAP Ariba Buyer SAP SRM etc
  • preferred
  • Prior experience to creating global and regional category strategies based on supply market research
  • Evaluating category and supplier performance
  • Service Delivery Consulting background
  • Experience in handling external publications preferable
  • Qualification
  • MBA Engineering Graduates Post Graduates in any discipline
  • 12 years of corporate experience
