Principal Functional Consultant - Dynamics 365 Business Central

Job Overview:

Devsinc is on the lookout for a challenging and transformative Principal Functional Consultant - Dynamics 365 Business Central . In this pivotal role, you will leverage your extensive experience in ERP solutions to drive business process improvements and technology implementations . Your leadership skills will be essential in guiding clients toward effective utilization of Dynamics 365 Business Central, enhancing their operational efficiency, and delivering exceptional value through deep functional expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take the lead on end-to-end implementation of Dynamics 365 Business Central, focusing on business requirements analysis and solution design
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of client needs, translating them into actionable functional specifications
• Develop and document business process flows, ensuring alignment with Dynamics 365 capabilities and best practices
• Manage stakeholder engagements, providing expert advice on system functionalities, and guiding clients toward informed decisions
  
  

Client Engagement & Advisory:

• Establish trusted relationships with clients, providing strategic guidance on best practices in business process management and ERP adoption
• Lead client workshops, training sessions, and user acceptance testing (UAT), ensuring comprehensive knowledge transfer and skill development
• Identify and mitigate project risks while ensuring a positive client experience through quality deliverables
  
  

Project Delivery & Collaboration:

• Work collaboratively with developers and technical consultants to ensure seamless integration of Business Central with existing systems
• Utilize agile methodologies to manage project timelines, scope changes, and resource allocation effectively
• Adhere to project methodologies and quality standards to meet or exceed client expectations
  
  

Mentorship & Knowledge Development:

• Mentor junior consultants in their application and configuration of Dynamics 365 Business Central
• Contribute to internal knowledge bases, templates, and documentation improvements related to D365 implementations
• Engage in pre-sales activities, providing technical insights and functional expertise to support business development efforts
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field
• Microsoft Certifications in Dynamics 365 Business Central are highly desirable
  
  

Requirements

Required Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in ERP consulting, with a focus on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
• Led at least two complete ERP implementations of Dynamics 365 Business Central or similar ERP systems
• Strong understanding of key business processes in areas such as:
• Finance: General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable
• Supply Chain Management: Inventory Control, Procurement, Sales Order Management
• Manufacturing: Production Planning, Capacity Management
• Ability to translate complex business operations into system configurations that meet client needs
  
  

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Expertise in Dynamics 365 Business Central functionalities, configuration, and development
• Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills
• Ability to engage effectively with clients and stakeholders at all levels
• Experience in training end-users and creating user documentation
• Familiarity with agile project management methodologies is a plus
