Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the ongoing evolution of Amazon Fashion & Fitness personalization strategies with a focus on leveraging GenAI and automation to scale relevance and innovation.
- Partner with tech and engineering teams to translate business needs into AI-driven, automated solutions that deliver measurable customer impact.
- Build and refine customer-centric shopping experiences that delight customers while driving acquisition, engagement, and long-term retention.
- Use advanced analytics and AI-powered insights to uncover trends, shape strategy, and rapidly experiment with new solutions.
- Evangelize new tools and ways of working, helping the organization lean into automation and GenAI adoption to drive speed, efficiency, and customer value.

Key job responsibilities
- Lead and Define Strategy: Own Amazon Fashion and Fitness’s personalization marketing function, driving short term and long-term strategic plans through data-driven insights.
- Drive Trend Detection and Model Development for Personalization: Lead the implementation of trend-detection strategies, piloting, testing and measuring real-time trend models that leverage social listening tools, customer data, and other sources.
- Customer Shopping Mission Strategy: Develop and execute a strategy to support diverse shopping missions across the customer journey, from goal-oriented to discovery-based browsing, ensuring the shopping experience is tailored to each mission type. Optimize personalization and recommendation features to guide customers seamlessly, fulfilling unique shopping goals and enhancing engagement.
- Customer Segmentation and Insights: Define customer segments and build tailored strategies that reflect varied customer demographics, preferences, and behaviors. Leverage insights from segmentation to create personalized marketing campaigns, ensuring relevancy and resonance for each customer group within Amazon Fashion & Fitness.
- Seasonal Shopping: Develop seasonal plans from our long-term vision to align the organization on priority initiatives and in-quarter focus areas.
- Customer Engagement and Retention: Develop and drive acquisition and retention strategies, focusing on personalized customer experiences that foster engagement, frequency of shopping, and increased basket building.
- Innovative Personalization Experiences: Identify opportunities for ‘Think Big’ personalization initiatives, leveraging customer data and machine learning insights to surprise and delight Amazon Fashion & Fitness customers.
- Voice of the Customer: Champion the customer in all forums, ensuring Amazon’s personalization strategies resonate with evolving customer expectations.
- 9+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
- Experience communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
- Experience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teams
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience working cross-functionally and driving decision making among stakeholders with competing goals
- Experience with various types of research methodologies is key, including quant, qual, 1P & 3P data, trend analysis & forecasting, etc.
- MBA

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $127,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
