Print Production Assistant

Job Overview
Join our dynamic design and graphics team as a Print Production Assistant, where your energy and attention to detail will drive the creation of high-quality printed materials. In this role, you will support the entire printing process, from prepress preparations to final quality checks, ensuring that every project meets our standards for excellence. Your enthusiasm and proactive approach will help us deliver impactful print advertising, packaging, and promotional materials that captivate audiences and elevate brands. Proficiency in graphic design is preferred but not mandatory.

Duties

• Maintaining attention to detail, multitasking with various printers and laminators, loading and unloading print materials.
• Support prepress operations, including file checks, proofing, and ensuring color accuracy across various substrates.
• Operate printing equipment such as Epson, Canon and HP, ensuring vibrant prints efficiently and accurately.
• Assist in preparing digital files for printing by managing layout design, typography, and color management using Adobe Creative Suite tools.
• Conduct quality control inspections throughout the production process to identify and resolve issues related to color consistency, registration, or material defects.
• Manage inventory of printing supplies and materials, coordinating with manufacturing teams to ensure smooth workflow.
• Support machining and finishing processes like cutting, trimming, or assembling printed products to meet specifications.
• Assist periodically with installations, including vehicle wraps, displays and large format applications.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment by following safety protocols, including handling large rolls or pallets of materials.

Experience

• Experience in the Print/Design/Sign industry is preferred but not required.
• Strong knowledge of prepress processes, color management techniques, and layout design principles preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) for preparing print-ready files.
• Understanding of quality control standards specific tothe Print/Design/Sign industry.

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
