Print Production Coordinator

Overview of the Role

Our well-known entertainment and streaming client is looking for a Print Production Coordinator to join their team. This role supports the development and execution of print and digital mechanicals for entertainment marketing campaigns. This role works closely with production artists, creative teams, and marketing services to ensure accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery of all assets. The coordinator manages mechanical reviews, specifications, approvals, and finishing workflows with a strong attention to detail.


The Basics

  • Duration: Approximately 3 months (covering a leave of absence; may extend based on business needs)
  • Hours: 40 hours per week (9 a.m. to 6 p.m.)
  • Location Requirements: Onsite in West Hollywood, CA


Top 3 Required Qualifications

  1. 1 to 2 years of print production experience, including mechanical review and artwork versioning
  2. Proficiency with Box, SharePoint, and Google Workspace for asset management and workflow coordination
  3. Strong attention to detail with the ability to proof and verify complex specifications and production notes


Other Qualifications

  • Studio-side experience preferred
  • Strong communication and coordination skills
  • Ability to manage deadlines, track approvals, and follow detailed production processes


Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate mechanical development by partnering with production artists to build accurate digital and print mechanicals, ensuring correct tech lines, datelines, specifications, and finishing notes.
  • Review and approve mechanicals by validating cap heights, specs, and layout accuracy, and securing required leadership approvals.
  • Manage asset accuracy and updates by confirming tech line and dateline details with in-theatre teams and communicating changes to marketing services.
  • Ensure compliance and quality by applying review notes from marketing services and verifying that all mechanicals meet contractual, legal, and content requirements.
  • Support finishing workflows by providing approved FPOs, hero finishes, adaptive sizes, and final assets to creative teams, vendors, and internal partners.
  • Facilitate digital and social launches by coordinating with digital and brand teams and confirming alignment between online assets and approved mechanicals.
  • Assist with international and adaptive deliverables by reviewing adaptive mechanicals, creative suites, and line art, and helping secure final approvals.
  • Track and report costs by monitoring mechanical-related expenses and providing updates or adjustments to finance as needed.


In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
