Private Driver

Job Brief:

The Private Driver is responsible for providing safe, reliable, and professional transportation services for senior staff and employees of Pipe Coating Services. This role requires excellent knowledge of local routes, strict adherence to safety and confidentiality protocols, and diligent vehicle maintenance to ensure efficient and comfortable travel for all passengers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safe Transportation:
• Safely transport senior staff and employees to and from designated locations (offices, sites, residences, airports, meetings, etc.) in a timely and professional manner.
• Adhere strictly to all local traffic laws and company safety regulations.
• Route Planning & Punctuality:
• Plan the most efficient routes in advance, utilizing navigation tools (GPS) and real-time traffic information to avoid congestion and ensure passengers arrive on time.
• Adapt immediately to changes in schedule or destination as required by senior staff.
• Vehicle Management:
• Maintain the assigned company vehicle(s) in excellent condition, ensuring cleanliness (interior and exterior) at all times.
• Perform routine checks (fuel, oil, tires, lights, fluids) and coordinate necessary servicing, maintenance, and repairs promptly with the Vehicle Coordinator.
• Ensure the vehicle is legally parked and report any fines or issues immediately.
• Passenger Service & Confidentiality:
• Provide a high level of customer service, ensuring passenger comfort and assisting with luggage/packages as required.
• Maintain absolute discretion and confidentiality regarding all conversations, destinations, and personal/professional information related to passengers.
• Documentation & Compliance:
• Maintain accurate travel logs, recording mileage, destinations, travel times, and fuel/expense receipts as required by Finance/Logistics.
• Ensure vehicle registration, insurance, and driver’s license/Iqama are valid and up-to-date.
• HSE Compliance:
• Adhere to all company Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies, especially regarding safe driving practices and vehicle security.
• Tasks
• Drive company vehicle(s) safely for designated personnel.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle checks and report any defects to the Vehicle Coordinator.
• Plan, confirm and adjust daily travel schedules with the concerned staff/coordinator.
• Assist passengers with loading/unloading personal items.
• Keep the vehicle fuelled, clean, and ready for immediate use.
• Report any vehicle faults, accidents, or traffic violations immediately.
• Maintain accurate daily mileage and expense logs.

Required Qualification / Experience:

• Education and Experience:
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid Saudi Arabian Driver’s License is mandatory.
• Transferable Iqama is mandatory (if applicable).
• Proven experience as a professional driver, chauffeur, or corporate driver, preferably supporting senior management or staff in Saudi Arabia.
• Clean driving record with no major violations.
• Skills and Abilities:
• Excellent knowledge of local roads, traffic patterns, and alternative routes. Strong punctuality, reliability, and time-management skills.
• High level of professionalism, courtesy, and discretion.
• Good communication skills; English proficiency is preferred for coordinating with international staff.
• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
• Basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting knowledge.
