Private Duty Pediatric Nurse

Responsibilities:

11-year-old boy with trach, Hoyer lift, G-button, bed bound, Cerebral palsy, total care but weighs only just 50lbs.

- Candidates would provide direct patient care, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with activities of daily living.

- Candidates must be ready for a refresher training on trach and associated care.
- Candidates would collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Conduct assessments and document patient progress notes
- Monitor patients for changes in condition and report any concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals
- Educate patients and their families about their healthcare needs and treatment plans

Experience:
- Experience in behavioral health or nursing home settings is preferred
- Knowledge of specialized procedures such as Trach and G - button feeding
