Private Equity Director

The Private Equity Director is responsible for sourcing, evaluating, executing, and managing private equity investments to deliver strong risk-adjusted returns. This role leads deal origination, due diligence, transaction execution, portfolio oversight, and investor or stakeholder communication.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate new investment opportunities through market research, networking, and direct outreach.
• Lead due diligence, financial modeling, valuation analysis, and investment committee materials.
• Negotiate and structure transactions, including deal terms, funding structure, and exit strategy.
• Monitor and support portfolio companies to drive growth, improve performance, and create value.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with founders, management teams, advisors, investors, and external partners.
• Oversee junior team members and provide coaching, leadership, and guidance.
• Track market trends, regulatory developments, and sector opportunities relevant to the investment strategy.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, accounting, or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
• Extensive experience in private equity, investment banking, M&A, or principal investing.
• Strong financial modeling, valuation, and due diligence skills.
• Proven ability to source deals, lead negotiations, and manage investment processes end to end.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Experience

• Experience managing portfolio companies and supporting value creation initiatives.
• Experience working with institutional investors, family offices, sovereign wealth, or corporate investment teams.
• Strong understanding of legal, regulatory, and governance requirements in investment activities.

Pay: QAR66.00 - QAR104.00 per hour
