Private Homeschool Teacher (6th Grade) – Long-Term Opportunity

We are seeking a reliable, professional, and engaging private homeschool teacher for our daughter, who will be entering the 6th grade. This is a unique opportunity to work in a structured, home-based learning environment that focuses on both strong academic foundations and real-world application.

The ideal candidate will be able to deliver core academic instruction while creating a personalized and engaging learning experience in a one-on-one setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction in core subjects:
• Math
• English / Writing
• Science
• Social Studies
• Develop and implement an organized, age-appropriate curriculum
• Track progress and maintain records/portfolio for homeschool compliance
• Create a structured yet engaging daily learning environment
• Adapt teaching methods to support individualized learning

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior teaching, tutoring, or homeschooling experience
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to engage students in a one-on-one setting
• Passion for education and student development

Schedule

• Monday through Friday
• Approximately 3–5 hours per day
• Flexible scheduling with preference for consistency
