Private Teacher/Tutor

*Job Summary*

We are seeking a dedicated Teacher/Tutor to join our team and help our hard to reach students who are in fostercare achieve academic success, in a non-tradional setting. The ideal candidate will have experience working with difficult students in various educational settings, students with IEP and 504 plans, students with maladaptive behaviors and learning disorders .

*Responsibilities*

- Provide personalized tutoring sessions to students in various subjects

- Develop and implement effective lesson plans tailored to individual student needs

- Assist students with homework assignments and test preparation

- Utilize behavior management techniques to create a positive learning environment

- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to support student progress

*Qualifications*

- Experience working with students in educational settings

- Knowledge of early intervention strategies and literacy education

- Ability to educate and engage students effectively

- Strong skills in lesson planning and curriculum development

- Familiarity with behavior management techniques

- Previous tutoring experience is a plus

Pay: $23.10 - $24.50 per hour
