Main Responsibilities of a PRO in Oman

  • Processing employment visas and visa renewals
  • Managing residence cards (ID cards) and labour cards
  • Handling work permits through the Ministry of Labour
  • Renewing company licenses and Commercial Registration (CR)
  • Liaising with government authorities such as:
  • Ministry of Labour
  • Royal Oman Police
  • Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion
  • Processing visa cancellations and employee exit procedures
  • Managing Omanisation compliance and documentation
  • Renewing company vehicles, permits, and other official records
  • Following up on government approvals and inspections.

Simple Job Description

Position: Public Relations Officer (PRO)

Purpose:
To represent the company with government authorities and ensure all company and employee documentation remains valid and compliant with Omani regulations.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of Omani labour and immigration procedures
  • Experience using government portals (Invest Easy, Ministry of Labour, ROP systems)
  • Arabic and English communication skills
  • Valid Omani driving licence
  • Good organizational and follow-up skills.

Pay: From RO325.000 per month

Work Location: Remote
