Steel Structure Engineering.

Complete Steel Structure design and engineering of large and complex EHV/HV substation projects - Gas-Insulated Substations.

Analayse GIS layouts and suggestion of compensation element placement on GIS substation.

Review the tender specification and follow the design instruction accordingly.

Elaboration of project requirements considering the current standards in close cooperation with sales, project management, project engineering and the customer

Initiation via our supply chain management for the creation of the steel structures and production of the steel framework

Load Combination and Analysis in Staad pro Software.

Generation of foundation load reports of GIS substation –Indoor/Outdoor.
-
Creation of steel Structure Drawings according to Relevant standard.

Placing the steel structure models in GIS models.
-
Preparation of Civil Drawings for Substation Contractor, with Steel Structure foundation marking.

Creation of order BOM and Documents in SAP
-
Support to site installation team on technical issues.

Responsibility for the interfaces between buildings, steel structures, GIS with a focus on construction information as well as participation in the creation and modification as well as further development of instructions, templates, checklists and tools
Work Experience
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in Steel Structure Engineering with bachelor degree in CVIL or Mechanical
- Knowledge of Relevant Steel Structure Standards ACI, ASCE, ASTM, AISC, ANSI.
- Fluent in English, additional languages.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, teamworking skills combined with open-mindedness, reliability, and ability to work under pressure
- Experience in Staad pro Software
