Proactive 3D Printing Technician for Miniature Production

Position Overview:
As a 3D Printing Technician, you will prepare and process 3D print files, operate various types of 3D printers (FDM, SLA, SLS, etc.), and ensure every printed part meets our high standards. You’ll handle post-processing tasks like cleaning, sanding, polishing, and assembling parts before they reach our clients. Your technical expertise and attention to detail will be key in maintaining smooth operations and improving workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and process 3D print files from modelers/design staff; verify geometry and troubleshoot digital issues before printing.
• Operate and maintain various 3D printers including FDM, SLA, SLS; manage material supplies and perform routine maintenance.
• Post-process printed parts by cleaning, sanding, polishing, assembling, and inspecting for defects.
• Keep detailed records of print jobs, materials usage, printer maintenance, and report any issues to supervisors.
• Develop workflow improvements and stay updated on the latest advances in 3D printing technology; recommend new equipment or methods as needed.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in relevant field
• Hands-on experience with multiple 3D printing technologies such as FDM, SLA, or SLS.
• Strong technical troubleshooting skills for both hardware and software related to 3D printing.
• Familiarity with CAD and slicing software is highly desirable.
• Excellent organizational skills with great attention to print quality and consistency.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
