Job Summary
This is a full-time, on-site position located in Leesburg, FL, for an experienced Probate Paralegal at Hunt Law Firm, P.A. The Probate Paralegal will assist attorneys in managing probate cases, including the preparation and review of legal documents, e-filing, communicating with clients, and maintaining case files. The position requires technical and organizational skills, attention to detail, proofreading skills, strong client service skills, and excellent verbal and written communication skills. Candidate must have a strong work ethic and be able to work independently and in a team environment. Salary based upon experience. Please email a cover letter with resume.
Duties
- Prepare and review legal documents related to estate administration, wills, trusts, and probate proceedings with precision and attention to detail
- Manage case files ensuring all records are current and organized for easy access
- Assist attorneys with client interviews by gathering pertinent information and documenting case details accurately
- Draft legal correspondence, pleadings, reports, accountings, and summaries with clarity and professionalism
- Support litigation activities through document review, proofreading, transcription, and preparation of discovery materials
- Maintain effective communication with clients, courts, vendors, and internal teams via phone etiquette and professional interaction
- Manage administrative tasks including data entry, filing (both electronic and physical), scheduling appointments, and providing executive administrative support when necessary
Qualifications
- Three (3) or more years of experience handling probate and estate matters.
- Knowledge of legal practices and procedures in probate, estate, and trust law.
- Experience in legal document preparation and document review.
- Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with attorneys, clients, and other staff.
- Research skills to support case preparation and legal analysis.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple deadlines.
- Proficiency with office software and legal management tools.
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
