Run day-to-day line operations to meet plan adherence and deliver the right quantity at the right quality, safety, OEE, and cost in line with schedule and cross‑functional requirements (PQCDSM).
Supervise and organize the shift team ensuring compliance with procedures; foster an Autonomous Maintenance (AM) engaged culture and support SME maturity.
Manage shift handover and past‑24h performance reviews , coordinate updates/repairs, and ensure issues are closed out.
Administer workforce scheduling (workstation assignments/rotations, training, vacations, breaks, overtime, back‑ups for absences, shift rotations).
Safeguard product quality by monitoring conformance to specifications, escalating defects, and completing daily QDI.
Lead continuous improvement : conduct RCAs, share learnings, and implement initiatives to reduce direct material and conversion costs, following international best practices.
Own HSE and housekeeping across the process area to meet legislative and company standards.
Prepare timely, accurate reports aligned with Savola and departmental requirements.
Collaborate cross‑functionally with Maintenance, Quality, Warehouse, and Packaging; liaise with suppliers and consultants as needed.
Develop people & performance : coach operators on KPIs, build synergy across production areas, and drive a proactive, continuous‑improvement culture.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
Experience: 3–6 years in production; pasta industry experience preferred.
Technical competencies: Production operations; Quality Management; Lean Six Sigma; Autonomous Maintenance (AM); methods to overcome manufacturing defects; strong analysis & pattern recognition.
HSE mindset and cross‑functional collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
