PROCESS ENGINEER

Position: Process Engineer

Education: B.E./B.Tech(Chemical)

Experience: 2 years to 4 years (Preferred)(Oil & Gas industry)

Salary range: Rs.25,000 to Rs.40,000(CTC)

Key Responsibilities1. Process Design & Development

· Design, develop, and optimize production processes to ensure efficiency, reliability, and sustainability.

· Conduct process simulations and modeling using industry-standard software.

· Support research and development for innovative hydrogen production methods.

2. Process Engineering & Calculations

· Develop and maintain:

o Block Flow Diagrams (BFD)

o Process Flow Diagrams (PFD)

o Utility Flow Diagrams (UFD)

o Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID)

o Heat & Mass Balances (HMB)

o Design Pressure/Design Temperature (DPDT)

o Isometric and GA Drawings

· Perform engineering calculations for:

o Pumps and compressors

o Line sizing (pumped and non-pumped lines)

o Control valve sizing

o Steam system design for green hydrogen loops

o Heat and utility load requirements

· Prepare datasheets, technical specifications, and complete process design packages.

· Size and select key process equipment such as electrolyzers, compressors, pumps, heat exchangers, distillation columns, dryers, and hydrogen storage vessels.

3. Compliance, Safety & Quality

· Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and industry best practices.

· Troubleshoot and resolve process-related issues to enhance operational efficiency.

· Prepare technical reports and engineering documentation.

4. Project Coordination & Support

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate hydrogen technologies into existing infrastructure.

· Coordinate with production, instrumentation, and project teams to align design execution with plant performance.

· Participate in installation, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities.

· Support procurement teams with datasheets, specifications, and vendor communications.

Skills:

· Proficiency in process simulation software (Aspen HYSYS, ChemCAD, etc.).

• Knowledge of hydrogen purification technologies (PSA, membrane separation, etc.).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
