Job Title: Quality Manager – Engine Testing & Paint-Finish

To lead and manage quality assurance activities in the engine testing area, ensuring product reliability, process capability, and compliance with Caterpillar standards. The role focuses on defect prevention, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement in engine testing & painting operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Set and maintain quality standards and procedures for engine testing & paint- finish.

• Ensure adherence to Caterpillar Production & quality systems.
• Analyze engine test data and present findings to engineering and product teams.
• Ensure proper inspection tools, gaging procedures, and test methods are in place.
• Lead investigations of product quality issues and drive root cause analysis, containment activities in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Manage and mentor team leads, and quality inspectors.
• Collaborate with global quality teams, product support, and engineering groups.
• Facilitate customer feedback and resolution of complaints.

Skill & Experience :

• 5 to 10 years of experience in engine testing, process quality assurance.
• Strong knowledge of engine components, testing systems, and troubleshooting.
• hands-on experience of engine hot test systems & software.
• Proficiency in quality tools.
• Excellent communication skills.
