Production Process Engineer

In this role, you’ll support the production floor, troubleshoot complex issues, and drive collaboration across Engineering, Quality, and Production teams. Key Responsibilities
Cross-Functional Liaison & Engineering Support

Act as the primary technical contact for the production floor, collaborating daily with operators, technicians, and supervisors.

Translate design specifications and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) into clear, actionable manufacturing plans.

Provide feedback to Design Engineering teams on manufacturability and process improvements.
Production Troubleshooting & Root Cause Analysis

Provide hands-on technical support for assembly, testing, and process issues to minimize downtime.

Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

Manage non-conformance through the Material Review Board (MRB) process, determining appropriate dispositions (repair, rework, or scrap).

Design and maintain custom fixtures, jigs, and test equipment for production use.
Process Documentation & Optimization

Develop and maintain detailed Manufacturing Work Instructions for new and existing product assemblies.

Apply Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to enhance cycle time, cost efficiency, and first-pass yield.

Ensure production documentation aligns with internal standards and industry certifications such as ISO 9001.
Quality Assurance Collaboration

Partner with the Quality team to define inspection points and in-process quality checks.

Implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) to address process deficiencies and improve consistency.

Audit manufacturing processes and validate equipment performance against defined specifications.
What You Bring
Education & Experience
-
Bachelor’s degree in
Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering
, or a related technical field.

Minimum of
4 years of experience
in a manufacturing engineering or process engineering role, ideally within
electronics assembly, display technology (LCD, OLED, TFT), or PCBA
environments.

Demonstrated success in cross-functional collaboration between Engineering, Quality, and Production teams.
Technical Skills

Strong understanding of electronics theory and ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and datasheets.

Proficiency in
Lean Manufacturing

Six Sigma
, and process optimization.

Experience with
ISO 9001
and leading
Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
initiatives.

Hands-on experience with production tooling, soldering, and assembly validation.

Ability to interpret and modify
CAD drawings

BOMs
