The Manufacturing/Process Excellence Manager will drive continuous improvement, operational excellence, and productivity enhancement across manufacturing plants. This role will be responsible for deploying best-in-class practices, Lean Six Sigma initiatives, and digital transformation strategies to improve quality, safety, cost efficiency, and overall plant performance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Continuous Improvement & Operational Excellence

Lead the implementation of Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, TPM, 5S, and other operational excellence tools.

Identify process gaps and drive improvement projects to reduce waste, improve cycle times, and enhance productivity.

Develop and maintain a structured CI (Continuous Improvement) roadmap for all plants.
2. Performance Management

Establish KPIs and benchmarking standards across manufacturing units.

Drive OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), yield, and cost optimization initiatives.

Track, analyze, and report manufacturing performance data with actionable insights.
3. Strategy & Transformation

Partner with leadership to align manufacturing excellence programs with business strategy.

Support digital manufacturing, Industry 4.0 practices, and automation initiatives.

Lead cross-functional projects to deliver productivity savings, cost reduction, and efficiency improvements.
4. People & Capability Development

Build a culture of operational excellence by training and coaching plant teams on Lean and CI methodologies.

Conduct workshops, certifications, and mentoring for employees to drive sustainability of initiatives.

Act as change agent to foster continuous improvement mindset at all levels.
5. Compliance & Sustainability

Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.

Support sustainability initiatives such as energy conservation, waste reduction, and green manufacturing practices.

Standardize best practices across plants and ensure knowledge sharing.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Production, Industrial) or related field; Master’s preferred.

8–12 years of experience in manufacturing/operations with at least 4–5 years in a continuous improvement or manufacturing excellence role.

Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt preferred.

Strong knowledge of Lean, TPM, Kaizen, 5S, and related methodologies.

Proven track record of driving large-scale improvement initiatives in manufacturing.

Exposure to digital manufacturing/Industry 4.0 tools will be an added advantage.
