About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Process & Maintenance Engineer to join our Chemical Process Plant operations team. The role shall encompass operating, monitoring, and maintaining plant equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and continuous production. With a diploma in mechanical or chemical engineering, the Engineer contributes to both process control and equipment upkeep, supporting preventive maintenance and process optimization activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Start, operate and stop plant equipment in accordance with production schedules and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Monitor process parameters such as temperature, pressure, flow, and level; record operational data accurately for compliance and analysis.
- Inspect, adjust, or replace equipment components as necessary to maintain optimal performance and reliability.
- Conduct routine checks to ensure proper functioning of all systems and equipment.
- Adjust machinery settings to accommodate different processes, products, or production requirements.
- Perform troubleshooting and maintenance activities to prevent and resolve operational issues.
- Maintain accurate operational logs, documenting deviations and corrective actions.
- Ensure strict compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations at all times.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.
- Collaborate effectively with engineers, technicians, and other departments to identify process improvements and enhance operational efficiency.
- Participate in commissioning, start-up, shutdown, and emergency response activities as required.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (mandatory)
- 2–4 years of experience in process operations, plant equipment handling, or mechanical and electrical maintenance.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), and equipment manuals.
- Working and operational knowledge of pumps, compressors, heat exchangers, boilers, and rotating equipment.
- Familiarity with process control systems (DCS/SCADA) and basic instrumentation.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols, environmental regulations, and quality standards.
- Excellent problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills.
- Willingness to work in rotating shifts and industrial environments.
- Willingness to relocate across India, if required by the Organization.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
