Process Operator

RAG Process LLC is looking for a skilled and experienced Process Operator for plant operations. Candidates with a background in oil & gas, refinery, fertilizer, chemical, or petrochemical industries will be preferred.

Location: Sanjhoro, Sindh (initial posting)
Rotation: 28/28
Employment Type: Full-time (on-site)
Experience: 3–5 years

Preferred Experience (Oil & Gas Sector):

• Experience in oil & gas processing facilities
• Hands-on exposure to CO₂ membrane systems
• Gas dehydration units (Amine / TEG)
• Sulfur Recovery Unit (SRU)
• Crude stabilization units
• Gas compression and separation systems

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor pumps, compressors, separators, vessels, heat exchangers, and utilities
• Track process parameters such as pressure, temperature, flow, and level
• Conduct routine field inspections and report abnormalities
• Operate systems through DCS/PLC where applicable
• Maintain shift logs, production data, and incident records
• Perform plant startup, shutdown, and emergency handling as per SOPs
• Follow HSE policies, PTW system, and LOTO procedures
• Participate in safety meetings, toolbox talks, and drills
• Support maintenance teams during preventive and corrective jobs
• Assist in troubleshooting to minimize downtime

Education & Experience:

• DAE in Chemical / Process Technology OR B.Tech in relevant discipline
• 3–5 years of plant operations experience (process industry preferred)
• Ability to read and understand P&IDs and SOPs
• Basic knowledge of DCS/PLC systems
• Willing to work on a 28/28 rotation
• Physically fit for field duties
