One World IT Rental (OWR) is an international technology rental business operating across multiple global locations. We supply laptops, desktops, tablets, networking equipment, servers and event IT infrastructure to major corporate and live events globally. Our warehouses move high volumes of IT hardware between locations daily to support fast-paced event delivery schedules.

About the Role:
The Procurement Administrator sits within the Global Operations team. This role is responsible for the day-to-day purchasing of IT hardware and operational equipment to support warehouse stock levels and live event requirements.

This is a hands-on, operational role focused on raising purchase orders, sourcing IT hardware, coordinating deliveries, and supporting stock control across multiple global locations. You will work closely with Warehouse, Tech, and Sales teams to ensure the right equipment is available at the right time to fulfil event contracts.

This is an early-career role (1–2 years’ experience) suited to someone who understands IT hardware and enjoys working in a fast-moving, operational environment. We provide structured training, so we are looking for strong foundations rather than senior-level experience.

The Day Job

IT Hardware Procurement:

  • Source and purchase laptops, desktops, tablets, servers, networking and event IT equipment
  • Compare pricing and specifications across approved vendors
  • Ensure hardware purchased meets operational and event requirements

Purchase Order & System Management:

  • Raise and manage purchase orders accurately in internal systems
  • Maintain clear records of orders, invoices and delivery schedules
  • Reconcile supplier invoices against purchase orders

Supplier & Delivery Coordination:

  • Liaise daily with IT hardware suppliers regarding availability and lead times
  • Track shipments to ensure timely warehouse delivery
  • Resolve supply or delivery issues quickly to avoid event disruption

Warehouse & Stock Support:

  • Monitor stock levels across locations and flag replenishment needs
  • Support asset standardisation across global warehouses
  • Work closely with warehouse teams to manage incoming goods

Internal Operational Support:

  • Collaborate with Sales and Operations teams on equipment requirements
  • Support costing and pricing requests with up-to-date supplier data
  • Provide visibility on lead times and supply risks

Data Accuracy & Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate procurement data and product specifications
  • Assist in tracking spend and supplier performance
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and operational efficiencies

Requirement:

  • Previously worked as a Procurement Professional in a similar role.
  • Experience in a procurement or supply chain role.
  • Background in international sourcing.
  • Knowledge of contract terms and negotiations.
  • Skilled in IT and MS Office.
  • Excellent numerical skills.

  • Working knowledge of IT hardware such as laptops, desktops, tablets, servers, routers, switches and related accessories
  • Understanding of hardware specifications (RAM, CPU, storage, operating systems, networking basics)
  • Experience purchasing or supporting procurement of technology equipment
  • Strong IT literacy including MS Excel and procurement/ERP systems
  • Ability to compare technical specifications and supplier quotations
  • Basic understanding of global shipping or logistics processes (desirable)

…and the following experience, accreditations, and qualifications

Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Supply Chain, IT, or related field (desirable but not essential).

Relevant Work Experience: 1–2 years’ experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, IT asset management or a technology-focused operational role. Experience within an IT, rental, logistics or warehouse environment is highly desirable.

Certifications: CIPS Level 2–3 (desirable but not essential).
