Job Summary:
As a Procurement Analyst, you will play a key role in managing our company’s Procurement processes. You will be responsible for supporting procurement strategy for assigned areas, performing supplier, market, and cost analysis to drive efficiencies, and creating presentations and materials to visualize your analysis. As part of the Procurement team, you will support seasoned Procurement professionals in the development and implementation of strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure the highest quality of professional arrangements and goods/services for our organization.
Responsibilities:
  • Data Analysis: Analyze procurement data to identify trends, assess supplier performance, and make data-driven recommendations for process improvements and cost optimization.
  • Competitive Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and potential market, create requests for proposals, identify, evaluate, and select suppliers, negotiate favorable terms.
  • Cost Analysis: Conduct thorough cost analyses to identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend strategies for reducing expenses while maintaining quality standards.
  • Supplier Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with suppliers/partners, negotiating contracts and terms to secure favorable pricing, quality, and service levels.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and streamline procurement processes to increase efficiency, reduce lead times, and enhance overall effectiveness.
  • Collaboration: Develop strong relationships and collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders from the field and Home Office (ex: finance, operations, and legal) to align strategies with organizational goals and priorities.
  • Project Management: Ability to build and maintain a project plan, track deliverables on timeline and follow up as needed, adjust plans based on evolving situations and competing priorities.
  • Visualizing Information: Effectively build materials to share insights with various stakeholders, synthesize data analysis into compelling visual representations, draft presentations with narrative and quantitative information.
Requirements:
  • Analytical Mindset: Proficiency in data analysis and market research techniques, using insights to inform strategic decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
  • Data Analysis: Experience in harmonizing and analyzing data from multiple sources, ability to visualize data into meaningful insights, experience with business intelligence tools (ex: Tableau, Power BI) preferred.
  • Accountability: Meets commitments, proactively communicates challenges, open and honest communication about issues while owning the outcomes.
  • Computer skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, experiences with Procurement software preferred.
  • Prioritization: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Problem Solving: Looks at challenges as opportunities, identify root causes through open listening and rigorous analysis, pushes for solution and progress over perfection.
Education/Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field
  • Previous experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, supply chain or related roles
  • Previous experiences with Indirect Procurement categories in Financial or Professional Services preferred
Candidates should be comfortable with an on-site presence to support collaboration, team leadership, and cross-functional partnership.
