- Responsible for review of material requirements. Procurement and managing logistics of the same.
- Maintain store facilities to ensure smooth functioning. Make arrangements and place orders for new stock and supplies whenever necessary.
- Responsible for upkeep of appropriate records of materials received and issued.
- Monitor receipt and issue of new equipment/materials and ensure that all materials supplied are in proper order.
- Store the supplies and items received in their designated place to avoid general confusion and time wastage searching for items.
- Maintain the budget of all the expenditures incurred.
- Maintain comprehensive procurement files, including solicitations, proposals, evaluations, award documents, official contracts and correspondence on all procurements, following policies and local law;
- Supervise and verify the procurement of materials according to the needs of the project. Report to higher authorities on a regular basis regarding the need/demand of items so that the future orders could be placed accordingly.
- Ensure presentation of sufficient selection that meets requirements of quality assurance, delivery, and transparency.
- Compile and review budgets, solicited quotations, negotiations, and analysis to recommend vendors for delivery of goods and materials.
- Verify deliveries are complete and done in a timely manner.
- Perform checks on company vehicles and mileage tracking;
- Handle all email, mail and phone general inquiries and requests for information relating to procurement and logistics.
- Perform other duties, as assigned.
- Experience working as a procurement and logistics assistant within a Construction Company preferred. Ideally the candidate will be from Kottayam or within commutable distance to Kottayam.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
