Procurement Cum Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accountant cum Procurement Officer to join our dynamic finance team. This role combines core accounting responsibilities with procurement functions to support the company’s financial operations and supply chain efficiency. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and experience in purchasing and vendor management.

Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting Duties

Prepare and maintain accurate monthly and annual financial accounts, ensuring proper documentation of financial transactions by entering account information.

Generate and issue timely sales and inventory reports on a bi-weekly basis.

Analyze actual expenditures in relation to the annual budget and prepare monthly comparisons of actual vs. budgeted figures.

Produce error-free accounting reports, present findings, analyze financial information, and summarize the company’s financial status.

Procurement Duties

Coordinate and execute the procurement of materials, equipment, and services in line with company policies and project requirements.

Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate terms and pricing, and build strong vendor relationships.

Prepare and process purchase orders and maintain procurement records, contracts, and relevant documentation.

Track inventory levels and ensure appropriate stock levels by working closely with inventory and warehouse teams.

Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues related to deliveries, quality, or invoicing.

Minimum of 1 year of UAE experience in accounting or finance; experience in procurement is a strong advantage.

Proficiency in accounting software (experience with ZOHO and ERP systems preferred).

Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to meet tight deadlines.

Knowledge of UAE financial regulations and tax laws is a plus.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

A UAE driving license is preferred.
