We are a procurement consulting startup helping Small & Medium Businesses and Private Equity firms reduce costs and improve profitability using AI-powered tools.

We are seeking a Procurement Data & Automation Lead to support our projects on a freelance/project basis. The role involves setting up, configuring, and deploying AI tools for:

• Spend Analysis (Power BI, SpendHQ, or AI-based classification)
• Contract Analysis (Lexion, Agiloft, Icertis, or GPT-powered workflows)
• Supplier Discovery & Enrichment (TealBook, Scoutbee)

You will work closely with the founder (20+ years in procurement & sourcing) to analyze client data, deploy AI workflows, and generate dashboards & insights that drive cost savings.

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare raw procurement data (AP, GL, supplier master).
• Configure AI/BI tools for spend classification and opportunity identification.
• Set up contract analysis workflows (extract clauses, obligations, risks).
• Build dashboards and client-ready visualizations.
• Automate workflows using AI/ML or RPA where applicable.
• Support Procurement Health Check audits by delivering actionable insights.

Requirements

• Strong skills in Power BI / Tableau / Excel and Python (Pandas/AI APIs).
• Experience with procurement systems (Coupa, Ariba, GEP, Jaggaer, or similar).
• Familiarity with AI/automation platforms (OpenAI API, LangChain, RPA).
• Prior experience in procurement analytics or sourcing is highly preferred.
• Ability to work independently and deliver outputs on tight timelines.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $1.00 - $2.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week
