An established organisation is seeking an experienced
Procurement Director
to provide strategic leadership across procurement, sourcing, vendor management, and contract governance. The role is responsible for driving procurement strategy, ensuring compliance and transparency, optimising costs, and supporting operational continuity at an executive level.
Develop and execute organisation-wide procurement strategies, policies, and governance frameworks
Lead the full procurement lifecycle including sourcing, tendering, supplier evaluation, negotiation, contracting, and fulfilment
Ensure ethical, transparent, and compliant procurement processes aligned with internal controls and regulatory requirements
Oversee supplier onboarding, performance management, contract administration, renewals, and close-out
Establish procurement KPIs and dashboards to track cost savings, efficiency, supplier performance, and risk
Partner with internal stakeholders to forecast needs and ensure timely delivery of goods and services
Oversee ERP and e-procurement systems to improve efficiency, automation, and data integrity
Identify supply chain risks and develop mitigation and business continuity plans
Lead, mentor, and develop procurement and supply chain teams, fostering a high-performance culture
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
Master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g. CIPS) are an advantage
12+ years of progressive experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management
Proven experience in senior leadership or director-level procurement roles
Strong background in strategic sourcing, competitive tendering, contract negotiation, and supplier governance
Deep understanding of procurement best practices, compliance, and governance
Strong commercial, financial, and analytical acumen
Advanced negotiation and contract management skills
Experience working with ERP systems and digital procurement platforms
Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills
Demonstrated leadership, team development, and change management capability
Experience in complex, multi-entity or regulated environments
Exposure to large-scale procurement budgets and strategic supplier portfolios
Knowledge of UAE procurement practices and regulatory frameworks
Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage
