Key Responsibilities

  • Strategy & Planning: Develop cost-effective purchasing strategies, analyze market trends, and set procurement targets.
  • Sourcing & Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers; maintain strong relationships with existing ones; manage supplier performance and resolve issues.
  • Negotiation & Contracts: Lead negotiations for best prices, terms, and quality; draft and manage contracts with legal/finance.
  • Process Management: Oversee the end-to-end procurement cycle, from requisitions to invoice clearing and final payment.
  • Cost & Risk Management: Perform spend analysis, identify savings, manage budgets, and develop risk mitigation plans for supply chain disruptions.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise purchasing staff, delegate tasks, and foster continuous improvement.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to company policies, legal regulations, and ethical standards.
