Procurement Engineer

• Reports to Head of Projects
• Bridges the gap between engineering, project management, and procurement, playing a critical part in optimizing the supply chain for complex projects and ongoing operations.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, fostering collaboration and identifying opportunities for cost savings
• Work closely with design and project teams to understand and interpret technical specifications, drawings, and scope of work for required MSRA.
• Prepare purchase order, negotiate with supplier and build relation with key people for better supply chain.
• Ensure purchased items meet the required quality standards and performance criteria.
• Manage project inventory on ongoing project and preparation of assets list for each project execution.
• Manage supplier performance through regular evaluations, audits, and feedback mechanisms.
• Proactively identify opportunities for cost reduction, value engineering, and process improvements in procurement activities without compromising quality or performance.
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, procedures, ethical guidelines, and relevant industry regulations.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation
• Act as the primary point of contact between suppliers and internal departments (e.g., Engineering, Project Management, Quality, Finance).
• Facilitate effective communication and information flow between all stakeholders involved in the procurement process.
• Provide regular updates and reports on procurement status to relevant teams and management.
• Logistic coordination of new purchased material, ensuring the safety and delivered to site and update the details in Inventory management software.
• Should have knowledge of AutoCAD knowledge to help the project team with minor changes and handover documents.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month

• Bachelor's (Preferred)
