Procurement Engineer-Civil

• Evaluate technical specifications and collaborate with engineering teams to determine procurement needs.
• Source reliable suppliers and vendors locally and internationally.
• Request and analyze quotations, proposals, and bids from suppliers.
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders (POs) and maintain accurate procurement records.
• Monitor supplier performance to ensure quality, on-time delivery, and compliance with contract terms.
• Liaise with project managers, engineers, and quality control teams to coordinate deliveries and resolve supply issues.
• Conduct cost analyses and identify opportunities for cost savings.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with internal policies and external regulations.
• Maintain supplier databases and documentation for audits and reporting.
• Track and manage inventory levels related to procurement orders.
• Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering civil.
• Minimum of 6-7 years of experience in procurement or supply chain, preferably in Civil & MEP construction
• Strong understanding of technical specifications and engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of procurement best practices and ERP systems.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Analytical thinking and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
