Purchase Officer

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with the company’s objectives.
  • Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with reliable suppliers.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure the most competitive prices and favorable terms.
  • Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely availability of required materials and services.
  • Manage inventory levels to avoid shortages or overstock.
  • Prepare regular reports on purchasing activities, cost analysis, and savings achievements.
  • Ensure all purchasing activities comply with quality standards and company policies.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in procurement or supply chain management.
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to obtain competitive pricing and advantageous deals.
  • Solid knowledge of local and international markets.
  • Excellent analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office applications.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a team-oriented approach.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
