Procurement Officer / Engineer

Job Summary:

The Procurement Officer/Engineer is responsible for managing the procurement of materials, equipment, and services required for oil and gas operations. The role ensures timely delivery, cost-effectiveness, quality compliance, and alignment with company policies and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Supply Chain, or relevant field.
• Minimum 3–8 years of procurement experience in the Oil & Gas, EPC, or related industries.
• Source, evaluate, and select suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors based on quality, cost, delivery, and reliability.
• Prepare and issue purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and contracts in line with company procedures.
• Negotiate prices, terms, and conditions with suppliers to achieve cost savings and value optimization.
• Monitor supplier performance, delivery schedules, and compliance with contractual obligations.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, reports, and documentation for audits and project requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and project teams to ensure materials meet technical specifications and project timelines.
• Assist in inventory management, material planning, and stock control to avoid project delays.
• Ensure adherence to HSE standards, corporate policies, and regulatory requirements in procurement activities.
