Qatari professional
with experience in Contracts and Procurement for managing projects contracts process (both pre and post contract phase) for Qatari Diar's real estate projects.
Qualification: Bachelor's degree in engineering or similar discipline
Experience: 7+ years of experience in end-to-end contract management
Role: Individual contributor
Job responsibilities:
Tendering:

Liaise and communicate with relevant departments on materials/ services required to deliver the scope of work and fulfilling needs at QD – including consultants, contractors/ construction materials etc.

Managing end to end RFP process – bid scope, bid conditioning and evaluation, shortlisting, and selecting vendors using standard tendering process, tools, and templates.

Recommending vendors based on bids along with vendor scorecards by creating and maintaining list of suppliers and their performance scorecards.

Overseeing and getting involved in negotiation with contractors/ vendors for highest quality service at most effective price.
Contract Process:

Evaluating and making submissions for any variations/ change orders or concession requests with consultant/ contractor for approval from Tender Committee.

Preparing financial statements during the contract period detailing financial position for requesting departments.

Coordinating with Finance/ Accounts department for supplier/ contractor payments.
Control Mechanism:

Monitoring the work of awarded contractor/ consultant/ stakeholder by liaising with relevant departments for ensuring compliance with contracts’ SLA.

Taking actions if contract SLA not being met and reviewing disputes and negotiating in resolving them.
Data and Reporting:

Ensuring maintenance and update of data on contractor, prices, receipts, and records of purchased goods and services.
