Procurement Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Procurement Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement processes for construction projects, both locally and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Tender Management: Organize and oversee tender processes, request for proposals, and evaluations.
• Order Management: Place purchase orders and monitor their progress to ensure timely delivery.
• Contract Preparation: Draft service and/or material contracts related to orders.
• Financial Oversight: Approve invoices and facilitate the issuance of payment orders.
• Procure parts and materials at negotiated rate
• Develop a supply and production plan to ensure timely delivery to our customers
• Create and monitor the performance of the purchasing strategy
• Gather and analyze quotes based on product specifications.
• Monitor and ensure quality control during the production phases with selected suppliers.
• Proactively identify and mitigate any production issues that may arise.
• Oversee the delivery and installation processes, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.
• Maintain effective communication with internal teams and external partners throughout the procurement process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Engineering from a recognized university.
• Proven experience in procurement processes for domestic and international construction projects.
• Proficient in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, result-oriented environment.
• Strong skills in comparing and analyzing price quotes, creating comparative analysis tables.
• Excellent organizational, planning, tracking, and reporting skills.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit and MS Office Suite.
