Key Responsibilities:
- Identify suppliers, compare pricing, evaluate offers, and negotiate contracts and terms.
- Prepare and issue purchase orders in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues related to delivery, quality, and service.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, new products, and alternative suppliers.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, including contracts, purchase orders, and supplier documentation.
- Coordinate with internal departments to forecast demand and align purchasing plans.
- Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards in procurement processes.
- Evaluate and monitor contracts to ensure compliance with terms and conditions.
- Develop and maintain supplier relationships to support long-term procurement goals.
- Assist in budget planning and cost control by providing procurement data and analysis.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a procurement or purchasing role.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
