Procurement Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the complete procurement lifecycle for local and international material acquisition.

Plan and execute procurement activities, including sourcing, vendor management, and negotiations.

Collaborate with logistics, warehousing, and supply chain teams for seamless operations.

Source, evaluate, and pre-qualify vendors to build long-term partnerships.

Ensure adherence to quality, technical, and delivery standards in supplier dealings.

Review product specifications to align with project requirements.

Implement efficient procurement methods and quality assurance processes.

Maintain detailed records of procurement activities and correspondence.

Provide weekly procurement status updates to management and verify payments with finance.

Oversee accurate purchase order (PO) administration and ensure timely delivery of goods.

Comply with company policies and best practices in materials and inventory management.

Develop and innovate procurement techniques and standards.

Obtain budget approvals and manage procurement budgets effectively.

Liaise with suppliers, purchasers, and finance for seamless payment processes.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

At least 3 - 5 years of procurement experience, preferably in EPCC Oil & Gas projects.

Strong understanding of technical specifications and international procurement practices.

Proficiency in negotiation, vendor management, and communication.

Odoo , Microsoft Excel , ERP Next
