Procurement Engineer

We are hiring a Procurement Engineer with 3–5 years of mandatory UAE experience and strong knowledge of the local construction and supplier market. The candidate will manage procurement activities for EPC camp construction projects, ensuring timely sourcing, cost efficiency, and compliance with project requirements. Prior EPC camp project experience is highly beneficial.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement activities for EPC camp construction projects.
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with UAE-based suppliers and subcontractors.
• Prepare and issue RFQs, RFIs, and Purchase Orders as per project requirements.
• Conduct technical and commercial bid evaluations in coordination with engineering and project teams.
• Ensure compliance with EPC contracts, specifications, and company procurement procedures.
• Maintain and update an approved vendor and supplier database.
• Coordinate with site teams to ensure on-time material delivery in line with project schedules.
• Track procurement status, deliveries, and resolve supply chain issues.
• Support cost control, value engineering, and budget optimization initiatives.
• Coordinate with QA/QC for material approvals, inspections, and documentation.
• Prepare procurement reports, comparison statements, and supplier performance reviews.

Mandatory Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Engineering (Civil / Mechanical / Electrical).
• 3–5 years of procurement experience in the UAE – Mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of the UAE construction market, suppliers, manufacturers, pricing, and lead times.
• Hands-on experience in construction / EPC procurement.
• Proficient in MS Office and EXCEL analysis.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and coordination skills.

Highly Preferred

• Prior experience in EPC camp / labour camp / industrial camp projects
• Experience in turnkey or fast-track EPC projects
• Familiarity with local authority and client requirements
