Procurement Engineer

Education & experience: Bachelor's degree in engineering. 2-4 years' experience in technical and general procurement.


Knowledge & skills;

  • Strong knowledge of technical specifications, industrial equipment, and general materials. Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office. Analytical and detail oriented.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills.
  • Ability to balance technical and commercial requirements.
  • Effective cross-functional collaboration


Job responsibilities:

  • Sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing technical and general materials, equipment, and services to support operations, ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery.
  • Source and procure technical goods, general materials, and spare parts.
  • Review specifications and drawings to ensure accurate purchasing.
  • Evaluate and negotiate with suppliers on price, quality, and delivery.
  • Maintain vendor relationships and ensure compliance with procurement policies.
  • Prepare purchase orders, reports, and documentation.
  • Align procurement schedules with project timelines.
  • Monitor market trends and identify cost-saving opportunities.
