Procurement Engineer

Key Job Responsibilities

• Supplier Sourcing & Evaluation: Identify, evaluate, and select vendors based on technical capability, price, and quality, often performing on-site audits.
• Technical Negotiations: Lead negotiations on complex, high-value contracts to secure the best price and terms (e.g., payment, delivery, warranty).
• RFQ Management & Analysis: Prepare, issue, and analyze [Requests for Quotation (RFQs)] and bids (both technical and commercial) for engineering materials.
• Material Specification & Planning: Collaborate with engineering teams to interpret technical specs for machinery, electrical components, or construction materials.
• Supplier Relationship Management: Manage vendor performance and drive continuous improvements for long-term partnerships.
• Logistics & Project Coordination: Coordinate with site managers to ensure timely delivery, tracking purchase orders from issuance to final delivery, and resolving supply discrepancies.
• Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure compliance with company regulations, safety, and legal standards, while identifying and mitigating potential supply chain risks.
• Cost Control & Strategy: Develop procurement strategies to meet cost-saving targets and improve operational efficiency.

NB: UAE Driving Licence is a must for this position

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per hour
