Procurement Engineer

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Procurement Engineer with a strong background in roads and infrastructure projects to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in procurement, vendor management, and material sourcing within the construction and infrastructure sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the procurement process for roads and infrastructure projects, including sourcing, supplier evaluation, negotiation, and purchasing.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and site teams to identify procurement requirements and timelines.
• Prepare and issue RFQs, analyze quotations, and negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, project specifications, and contractual requirements.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
• Monitor market trends, pricing, and availability of construction materials and equipment.
• Prepare procurement reports, cost comparisons, and supplier evaluations.
• Coordinate logistics and delivery schedules to support project execution.
• Ensure all procurement documentation is properly maintained and updated.
• Assist in resolving supplier-related issues, delays, or discrepancies.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of procurement experience in roads, highways, and infrastructure projects.
• Must be willing to work in Dubai.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, suppliers, and procurement procedures in the UAE market.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and procurement software is an advantage.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
