Procurement Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Procurement & Quantity Surveyor (QS) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for procurement activities, cost estimation, supplier coordination, and quantity surveying for lighting and electrical projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage procurement of lighting fixtures, control systems, electrical materials, and project requirements.
• Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs), quotations, cost estimates, and project budgets.
• Analyze project drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
• Source suppliers, obtain quotations, negotiate pricing, and coordinate delivery schedules.
• Prepare supplier and subcontractor comparison reports for management review.
• Monitor project costs and maintain budget control throughout project execution.
• Coordinate with sales, design, engineering, and project teams to ensure timely material procurement.
• Track material deliveries and ensure compliance with project schedules.
• Maintain procurement records, supplier databases, and project documentation.
• Assist in tender preparation, cost analysis, and value engineering exercises.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3–5 years of UAE experience in Procurement and Quantity Surveying.
• Experience in the lighting, electrical, fit-out, or construction industry is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, quantity take-off, and cost estimation.
• Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, ERP systems, or procurement software is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
