Procurement Engineer - Mechanical

• procurement Strategy Development: Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with the company’s objectives.
• Material Specification Review: Review and approve specifications and quantities of requested materials, ensuring compliance with project requirements.
• Procurement Process Management: Manage the entire procurement process, including vendor selection, negotiations, and contract execution.
• Timely Delivery & Compliance: Ensure the timely delivery of materials and services in compliance with project schedules and budgets.
• Contract & Supplier Monitoring: Evaluate and monitor contracts to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and supplier performance.
• Market Research: Conduct market research to stay informed about market trends and emerging technologies in construction, MEP, and real estate sectors.
• Cross-Department Collaboration: Collaborate with project managers and other department heads to ensure optimal coordination and support.
• MEP & Civil Works Procurement: Oversee procurement for MEP and civil works, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of procurement staff.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanical ).
• Minimum of 2 to7 years of experience in procurement, specifically in the construction industry in Dubai or other Gulf countries.
• Proven expertise in MEP and civil works procurement.
• Strong understanding of local regulations and compliance requirements in the UAE.
• Proven track record of managing significant budgets and achieving cost reductions while maintaining quality.
• Excellent negotiation skills and ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
• Proficient in MS Office and relevant procurement software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
