A procurement executive sources goods and services by evaluating suppliers, negotiating contracts, and managing relationships to secure the best terms and quality for the organization. Key responsibilities include strategic sourcing, cost control through budget management and analysis, inventory management, risk mitigation, ensuring compliance with laws, and providing strategic insights to support broader business goals.
Core Responsibilities

  • Supplier Management:Identify, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers who meet quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
  • Negotiation:Negotiate prices, terms, and conditions with vendors to get the best value and favorable contract terms.
  • Contract Management:Prepare and manage purchase contracts and agreements, ensuring compliance with company policy and legal standards.
  • Cost Control:Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives, analyze spending, and monitor procurement budgets to ensure financial efficiency.
  • Strategic Sourcing:Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to identify optimal purchasing opportunities and reduce overall costs.
  • Inventory Management:Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and avoid shortages.
  • Market Analysis:Research and analyze market trends and pricing data to inform purchasing decisions and anticipate future needs.
  • Risk Management:Evaluate suppliers and monitor their performance to mitigate risks related to quality, delivery, and supply chain disruptions.
  • Compliance:Ensure that all procurement activities and purchases adhere to relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Record Keeping:Maintain accurate records of all purchase transactions, supplier information, and inventory levels.
  • Reporting:Prepare reports and presentations on procurement activities, costs, and performance for senior management.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:Work with other departments, such as Finance and Sales, to understand procurement requirements and ensure smooth processes.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,546.74 - ₹35,023.09 per month
