Procurement Specialist

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement strategies to align procurement with business objectives and identify potential cost-saving measures.
  • Supplier Management: Source, evaluate, and select suppliers based on factors like price, quality, and reliability; manage and nurture relationships with existing vendors.
  • Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to ensure favorable pricing and conditions for the organization.
  • Cost and Quality Control: Monitor the cost and quality of purchased materials and services to ensure they meet company standards and budget constraints.
  • Inventory Management: Coordinate with suppliers to maintain optimal inventory levels, ensuring timely delivery and preventing stock-outs.
  • Market Analysis: Track and analyze market trends, pricing, and supplier performance to anticipate future needs and inform procurement decisions.
  • Compliance and Documentation: Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, regulations, and legal requirements.
  • Collaboration: Work with other departments (e.g., sales, finance) to understand their needs and support procurement processes.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain roles.
  • Skills:
  • Strong negotiation and communication abilities.
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in ERP and procurement software.
  • Knowledge of supply chain management principles.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹8,301.52 - ₹30,000.00 per month
