Job Title:
Procurement & Vendor Development Executive
To identify, evaluate, and onboard new vendors/manufacturers. The role requires proactive sourcing, negotiation, vendor relationship management, and procurement planning.
Key Responsibilities: Vendor Development:
- Identify and qualify new manufacturers/vendors for required products
- Assess supplier capabilities (quality, capacity, pricing, certifications)
- Maintain and expand a database of reliable and cost-effective suppliers
- Conduct factory visits or audits as needed (physically or virtually)
Procurement & Negotiation:
- Procure goods from manufacturers at best possible prices and payment terms
- Negotiate MOQs, lead times, credit terms, and delivery schedules
- Ensure timely purchase based on client demand / order pipeline
- Prepare and track purchase orders (POs) and manage order lifecycle
Domestic & International Sourcing:
- Source goods from India and international markets (e.g., China, SE Asia)
- Handle import-related coordination: PI, documentation, logistics (if needed)
- Ensure compliance with applicable import/export procedures
Coordination & Delivery Management:
- Coordinate with logistics / warehouse for timely material movement
- Follow up with vendors for dispatches, delays, or issues
- Resolve quality or documentation disputes with suppliers
Reporting & Documentation:
- Maintain vendor records, price lists, purchase data
- Submit regular reports on sourcing progress, vendor pipeline, procurement cost
- Ensure all procurement complies with company policy and ethical standards
KPIs (Performance Metrics):
- Number of new vendors developed per quarter
- Procurement cost savings achieved
- On-time procurement ratio
- Supplier reliability score (quality, delivery, responsiveness)
- Vendor diversification (avoiding single source dependency)
Salary Range : 10,000 to 25,000
Experience: 1 to 5 Year
