Job Overview:

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Executive to manage end-to-end procurement operations and support the development of new personal care products. This dual-role position requires someone who can balance supply chain efficiency with creative collaboration in product innovation.

Key Responsibilities:Procurement & Supply Chain Management:

• Handle the end-to-end procurement process to ensure uninterrupted supply and optimal stock levels.
• Develop and execute purchasing strategies aligned with business goals for cost, quality, and timely delivery.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers; negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery terms.
• Oversee the purchase order process, ensuring accuracy and timely execution.
• Resolve any order discrepancies or supply chain issues effectively.
• Monitor and manage inventory to minimize stockouts and excess stock.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements across procurement operations.

New Product Development (NPD):

• Research market trends and consumer needs to support the development of innovative personal care products.
• Collaborate with R&D and production teams to create and test new product formulations.
• Coordinate with suppliers for sourcing raw materials, packaging components, and product samples.
• Ensure all products comply with industry regulations and safety standards.
• Manage stability studies, product trials, and quality control checks during the development phase.
• Work closely with the marketing and branding team to align product positioning and support successful product launches.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong understanding of procurement and inventory management practices
• Good knowledge of NPD processes in the personal care or FMCG industry
• Excellent negotiation, vendor management, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail and timelines
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements for personal care products (FDA, BIS, etc.) is a plus
• Proficient in MS Office and procurement tools/software

Preferred Background:

• Experience in personal care, cosmetics, FMCG, or chemical manufacturing industries
• Prior exposure to both procurement and product development functions
