Role Overview

Be the supply-chain backbone of our solar projects. As a Civil SCM Professional – Projects, you will ensure that every bag of cement, ton of steel, and meter of shuttering material reaches site on time and within budget. You will partner with HO SCM and local vendors to deliver flawless procurement and logistics.

Job Location: Rajasthan, Andhra Pradesh & Haryana

Candidates must be open to at least one location; final evaluation will be based on the candidate’s preference.

Key Responsibilities:

• Procure site-level civil items locally within approved budget limits.
• Coordinate with the Project Manager to ensure timely material availability in accordance with the construction schedule
• Align with the HO SCM team on procurement status, vendor approvals, and project SCM deliverables.
• Maintain vendor database at the local level for civil items and consumables.
• Ensure procurement follows company policies, compliance, and quality standards.
• Monitor and report material inflow/outflow, consumption, and stock levels.
• Support material reconciliation for civil items during and after project execution.
• Coordinate with logistics for safe and timely transportation of materials to the site.
• Prepare and maintain documentation (POs, GRNs, invoices, vendor records, local contracts).
• Assist in resolving material shortages, delays, or quality issues at the site in coordination with HO SCM.
• Independently manage multiple vendors/ contractors to negotiate prices & close work orders at the site level.
• Issue formal PO/ termination at the site level and work at the local level to source manpower for the site.
• Source local specialized manpower for electrical, MMS structure, and substation.

Qualification & Experience/ Skills Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of civil construction materials and consumables.
• Understanding of local procurement practices and vendor management.
• Familiarity with procurement documentation (POs, GRN, invoices).
• Good coordination and negotiation skills for vendor interaction.
• Ability to work closely with the site team and HO SCM under tight timelines.
• Basic knowledge of ERP/SCM tools (preferred).
• B.E./Diploma in Civil Engineering OR Graduate with relevant SCM/procurement experience.
• 5–8 years of experience in procurement/supply chain of construction/renewable/industrial projects.
• Prior site-based SCM/procurement exposure preferred.
