Position: Procurement Executive

Location: Dubai, UAE

Salary: Up to AED 10,000 per month

About the Role

We are seeking a Procurement Executive to manage the sourcing and purchasing of chemicals, raw materials, and packaging supplies that support our trading and distribution operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the chemical industry, vendor negotiations, and import/export documentation, ensuring material availability, cost efficiency, and quality compliance.


Key Responsibilities


1. Sourcing & Supplier Management

  • Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable suppliers for chemicals and related materials.
  • Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules to achieve optimal cost savings.
  • Maintain long-term supplier relationships and evaluate vendor performance based on quality, delivery, and compliance.
  • Research and identify new or alternative suppliers to ensure supply chain resilience.


2. Purchasing Operations

  • Prepare, issue, and track Purchase Orders (POs) in line with company policies.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and resolve order discrepancies.
  • Liaise with logistics teams for import/export documentation, customs clearance, and shipment tracking.
  • Maintain accurate procurement data including supplier records, purchase history, and price logs.
  • Monitor market trends, chemical price movements, and currency fluctuations to support decision-making.


3. Compliance & Quality Assurance

  • Ensure adherence to company procurement and quality standards.
  • Track supplier performance metrics, payment terms, and delivery compliance.
  • Support preparation of procurement reports, dashboards, and presentations.


4. Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Work closely with Sales, Technical, and Operations teams to forecast demand and plan procurement schedules.
  • Support sourcing of specialty chemicals for new product developments.
  • Provide regular updates on order status, lead times, and market developments to stakeholders.


Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration .
  • 2–3 years of procurement or supply chain experience , ideally within the chemical trading or manufacturing sector .
  • Knowledge of chemical raw materials , import/export regulations , and procurement documentation .
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills with attention to detail.
