Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Procurement Executive with hands-on experience in the solar industry. The candidate will be responsible for sourcing, vendor management, negotiation, purchase order processing, and ensuring timely procurement of solar project materials.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end procurement of solar materials such as modules, inverters, structures, cables, BOS items, etc.
• Identify, evaluate, and manage vendors and suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.
• Prepare and process Purchase Requisitions (PR), RFQs, POs and contracts.
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules and warranty conditions.
• Coordinate with project, engineering, and finance teams for material planning and budget control.
• Track orders, follow up on deliveries and resolve supply-related issues.
• Maintain procurement documentation and excel.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
• Support inventory control and cost optimization initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Commerce or related field
• 2-5 years of procurement experience in the solar industry (mandatory)
• Strong knowledge of solar components and vendors
• Good negotiation and communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple vendors

Preferred Skills

• Experience in EPC solar projects
• Knowledge of GST, logistics, and import/export (if applicable)
• Strong analytical and documentation skills

Salary

As per industry standards / Based on experience
